Aaron J. Leonard will deliver a presentation at the Bob
Dylan Center, in Tulsa, OK, highlighting material from his
current book, Whole World in an Uproar. As part of
the presentation, he will discuss the way in which Bob
Dylan was an object of attention of the FBI as he burst onto
the scene in the early sixties.

Among the revelations on Dylan is a memo from an agent
reporting his wife’s connection with Dylan’s then-girlfriend
Suze Rotolo, “We heard, through family channels that
Susan Rotolo was dating Bob Dylan, the folk singer. In
1963 Columbia Records issued a Bob Dylan recording,
and Susan Rotolo appears in a photograph with Dylan on
the jacket cover.”—that being Dylan’s breakthrough, The
Freewheelin’ Bob Dylan.
