On March 16, Brooklyn Public Library is excited to announce the return of Night in the Library: Out of Darkness
Out of Darkness will present different takes on facing hardship rather than evading it. Performances and conversations will challenge audiences to confront our difficult era with honesty and curiosity to actively understand our world without counterproductively retreating from it. Featuring talks by Ajay Singh Chaudhary, Astra Taylor, Sarah Lewis, fred moten, Philip Gourevitch, Sasha Issenberg, Nate Schweber, Alissa Quart, Nikhil Goyal, Chester Higgins, the ACLU’s Emerson Sykes & the National Coalition Against Censorship’s Lee Rowland.
