Repeater presents: The Big Takeover

Repeater Books

Hosted by
Repeater Books

Details

Repeater Books takes over The Social for a night of readings and DJ sets celebrating the release of two new books that push the boundaries of the sonic impossible:

JUNGLIST, by Two Fingas and James T. Kirk (Andrew Green and James T. Kirk) – a lost classic of Black British fiction, back in the print after over the 25 years, this is the compelling story of four young Black men coming of age among the raves and jungle music of nineties South London.

NEON SCREAMS, by Kit Mackintosh, a counter-history of the last ten years of culture and the digital-era revolution in Black Atlantic music; a dizzying manifesto for the music of the future.

Join us for readings and DJ sets from the authors.
