‘Nathalie Olah lays bare the structural stranglehold that class continues to have on our education, culture, ways of thinking and ‘life choices’ here in the UK. A book of anger and resistance. We need more voices like hers’
—Bobby Gillespie, lead singer and founder member of Primal Scream

Fight the homogenisation of culture with journalist and editor Nathalie Olah as she sits down with author and co-founder of The Quietus Luke Turner (Out of the Woods) to talk about her new book Steal As Much As You Can: How to Win the Culture Wars in an Age of Austerity.
Drawing on her fascinating new polemical work, Olah and Turner will explore the impact of a decade’s worth of austerity on the development of new cultural output, whilst questioning the artistic sensibility of mainstream media’s contemporary gatekeepers. Arguing that increased education has given the bright new generation all the tools necessary to light the pathway to a more economically equal future, both authors will inspire us to reject received wisdom about the route to prosperity to find new artistic, cultural and economic models.
The event will be followed by a Q&A and a book signing.
