Take a frank look at our current political climate with journalist, economist and rising voice of the political left Grace Blakeley as she discusses her searing new book Stolen: How to Save the World from Financialisation.
In conversation with Ash Sarkar, Senior Editor of Novara Media, Blakeley will shine a light on the repercussions of finance-led growth, especially in the impact it’s had on the lives of ordinary working people. She will identify myriad contradictions in our current economic system, and will propose socialist ideas for a more equal, sustainable living. Championing new ways of thinking about our future, she will refute the belief that capitalism is irrevocable.
The event will be followed by a Q&A and a book signing.
Tickets: £14 including a copy of Stolen (RRP £10.99) / £8 standard / £5 Student or Foyalty member*. When purchasing a Student or Foyalty ticket, you’ll need to bring a valid in-date Student card or Foyalty card with you.
