Manchester Momentum are thrilled to invite Grace Blakeley to talk about her upcoming book, ‘Stolen: How to save the world from financialisation’.
Blakeley will shine a light on the repercussions of finance-led growth, especially in the impact it’s had on the lives of ordinary working people. She will identify myriad contradictions in our current economic system, and will propose socialist ideas for a more equal, sustainable living. Championing new ways of thinking about our future, she will refute the belief that capitalism is irrevocable.
Joining her will be Jon Silver, from Greater Manchester Housing Action, whose work exploring the impact financialisation has had on our city’s property market has been a key touchstone for the Manchester left the last year.
